Indeed! The Eagles put on a clinic in “disruptiveness” which is what the situation required. The longer their opponent, the crafty Patrick Mahomes and his band of merry Chiefs were out-of-sync, the better the chances the Eagles would prevail.

Dominate?

That wasn’t predictable leading up to the Big Game, but as the competition went on, it was apparent as confidence exuded and the players fed off each other.

And we did it our way…

And quietly, some 1200 miles away, Mr Pete did it his way: cheered on the team with his pal nearby in spirit.

Winding it back. Two years ago, when Mr Pete went to great lengths to setup a viewing party to cheer on the Eagles in the Super Bowl, his body quit out and he ended up in the hospital. That meant he wasn’t able to watch with his Eagles-loving buddy, Mr George like they had been all season.

Three months after that agonizing (for Eagles fans loss), Mr George passed away.

Gone but NEVER forgotten…

Mr Pete was given a truly fantastic Eagles jacket which was worn religiously by his buddy. On Sunday, the jacket came out of its protective sleeve, so to speak, and made an appearance.

We came here to live life like nobody was watching…

Mr Pete & Mr George enjoyed the game — better than old times too. For sure, the ceiling couldn’t hold them.

Win & Learn…

And the spirited play of the defense served as a reminder — be persistent. Head down. Focus on your area of influence and let the noise bounce off of you.

In this case, less is more. Mr Pete, please pull out the jacket one more time for that parade on Friday. You know Mr George will be all smiles.
