While flipping through The Wall Street Journal the other day, we came across a headline that grabbed our attention — and triggered our collective imagination. Apparently, thanks to the efforts of Sing London, a U.K.-based public art studio, 27 of Chicago’s iconic statues will speak to passersby via the mobile phone.

In the May issue of the NY Times “T” Magazine there was a piece about Kendrick Bangs Kellogg. With a last name like that, you’d think it was about cereal. But what caught our eye wasn’t the name. Rather it was the pictures of the “rock house” he built.
