Woo hoo! We have a date for The Little Prince movie…

Entertainment Weekly’s Nina Terrero (@NINA_TERRERO) has posted the release date for The Little Prince movie.

August 5

She wrote the following:

EW has learned that the animated retelling of Antoine de Saint-Exupéry’s 1943 novella will simultaneously be released theatrically and will hit Netflix exclusively on Aug. 5, four months after Paramount quietly pulled the feature shortly before its mid-March release date.

There’s also a Netflix branded trailer (see below).

This is great news!

And with 10 weeks to go, we are hoping that Netflix will consider what we’ve written in our “Dear Netflix” posts.
