Not long ago, I was on break scrolling through The Water Coolest newsletter on my phone when a call out caught my eye.

“An absolutely wild story about how a real Don Draper convinced women to smoke cigarettes in the 1920s”

Hold on… I know that story!

So later when I had a chance, I followed the link.

Yup! I smiled as I read.

The IG was referring to the “Torches of Freedom” guy — PR genius Ed Bernays.

Which also got me thinking of a post from way back that I did.

Yup! Smoking wasn’t taboo back then. Heck, you’ll even find smokers among the LP Gang here at Jedemi.
