The MAG-net-ficent (& more) arrivals have stimulated her imagination and triggered all kinds of ideas. Fortunately for her, Happy Puppy KEE-RA is all EARs (a great listener!) so she has an optimal environment for incubating next steps (AKA Where to next…).

INT. MEREDITH’S HOUSE
It is early morning and Suit-in-Transition MEREDITH is up working away on her computer. Happy Puppy KEE-RA is observing quietly.
KEE-RA
(to himself) Mama’s up early and in a good… heck I’d say energetic mood. Usually she’s all rubbing her jaw from grinding all night. Wonder…?
He moves quietly in position to see what’s on the screen.
Upgraded…!
KEE-RA
Whoa! Looks like we’ve been upgraded. (pause) The colours are… (pause) This is gonna be fun. Woo hoo!
…This is gonna be fun! Woo hoo!!
Indeed, the words “fun!” and “Woo hoo!!” were said out loud and didn’t escape Meredith’s ears as a huge smile crossed her face.
MEREDITH
You got that right, Pal. This one’s a winner and I think… We’ll be steppin’ up our adventures this week… That whole proof of concept thing’s in play…
KEE-RA
Cool, Mama! Cool!
He dances around some more and then hears a sound of a TIMER going off — which stops him as he watches her carefully.
Again, Meredith smiles.
DBRs Timer…
MEREDITH
No worries, Pal! I’m on a timer for these side hustle projects so I don’t get TOO distracted. We gotta cover our day-to-day living expenses… You know what I mean?
Kee-Ra nods.
MEREDITH
Okay, Pal. Now it’s back to our regularly scheduled morning.
KEE-RA
Walkies?
MEREDITH
Of course… And perhaps after you take care of business, I can start telling you about…
She points to the screen, hits save and then powers down.
DISSOLVE TO:
EXT. WORLD OF JOY (AKA the NEIGHBORHOOD)
They take off on their usual route, which MEREDITH has down pat, so to speak — knowing exactly how long it takes and what time the turn around to head back has to happen.
Happy Puppy bounces along and after a bit, Meredith releases what’s been kicking around in her head.
MEREDITH
We are very lucky to have two creative friends OVER-THE-HILL (AKA Westside).
KEE-RA
You mean my trail pal KATIE & her husband, my truck pal GEAR GUY?
MEREDITH
Good guess… Remember I said CREATIVE and I’m not exactly sure if I know enough about him to label him as such… though I can say with all certainty he’s a MACGYVER-TYPE from what Katie has told me.
They walk on as Kee-Ra ponders what she said. After a brief bit, he speaks up.
KEE-RA
Ah! So you’re saying he’s a good improvisor who can make or fix quickly and ingeniously with whatever is at hand? To me, that’s my trail pal Katie all the way… Remember at JEDEMI … the table in the ANNEX.

Say what? Last I heard, RC was test driving some ideas doing hidden shoots inside the BERDEL WESTSIDE property… But … Online? E-commerce-like…??

Brilliant, actually as it’ll allow us to expand our PROOF-OF-CONCEPT testing AND make it easier to TRACK who got ‘em and when and … do proper follow-up…
AND… my DAY JOB clients have been asking about SHOPIFY so this gives ME a chance to have hands-on experience.
KEE-RA
Whoa, Mama! Lots to unpack there…!
MEREDITH
Not really as succinct as a proper elevator pitch should be… That’ll come…
…The take-away for you is that, we’ve got FUN TIMES ahead EXPLORING new TERRITORIES…

Gotcha, Mama… More keepin’ weird hours ahead… less sleep but for a really good purpose… I can already feel… ENERGY is MUCH improved, so that’s a really good sign.
Kee-Ra bounds up the stoop stairs and beckons Meredith inside.
MEREDITH
I know. I know.
KEE-RA
No worries, Mama. We got this. Now get a move on as day job is calling.
MEREDITH
You coming in?
KEE-RA
Can I hang out here a bit while you finish getting ready? Porch it. Promise I won’t wander.
MEREDITH
You got it, Pal!
