The following morning… Kee-Ra pretty much slept straight through, he was so exhausted. The next day he was pumped and ready for ACTION.
EXT. KATIE’S WESTSIDE HOUSE
Former Suit KATIE is on her stoop tying her shoes while talking to HAPPY PUPPY KEE-RA who is about to return over the hill to his human, MEREDITH.
KATIE
So today we get ya back to your Mama… Her flight is due in and I’m sure she missed you.
KEE-RA
Missed her too… and SHE missed a lot… over here… there’s … it’s… TOOMGAS! Yeah… TOOMGAS!!

Katie gives him a look.
KATIE

KEE-RA
I know the ad and it fits! TOO MUCH GOOD STUFF! For real… I couldn’t begin to…
KATIE
Tell you what… Let’s do a WEST CLIFF walkabout. It’s early. The moon is still out and the sun… rising too. You can talk all you want and I’ll shape it into the DISH-PATCH.
Kee-Ra nods and then gives her a look.
KEE-RA
Hang on… Did you just say… DISH-PATCH?

KATIE
Yeah, Dude…. Liked your DISH idea so I mashed it up with DISPATCH…

KATIE

EXT. WEST CLIFF BY THE SEA
Just like their CREEK TRAIL excursions, Katie and Kee-Ra have fallen into step and are enjoying the surroundings… the sounds of the waves and the pelicans flapping about and then after about 20 minutes or so, he begins.
KEE-RA
DOWNTOWN… downtown! Ain’t seen nothing yet until you’re downtown…

Now he starts laughing as in tears in his eyes, LOL cracking up… Katie stops and gives him a look.
KEE-RA

Then Katie has a DING! and a huge smile comes across her face.

KATIE
Macklemore? … Really? How did you…?
KEE-RA
Karaoke session... Impromptu session… can’t remember… we were singing … a lot…
KATIE
I get that… Thanks for the FLIP PHONE with the SPOTIFY.

KEE-RA
Oh yeah. Please give that phone to Ms KIMBA… she’ll know what to do.
KATIE

They walk along some more. Katie with a huge smile on her face as she awaits other surprises from her companion.
KEE-RA
There’s… a… CINEMA… not far from the PIZZA PLACE… The guys… rent it out for special viewings. Comfy seats. Good sound…
KATIE
That’s cool.
KEE-RA
And… the pizza place has a SECRET MENU … with CALZONES! Gotta… Mama always talks about calzones… We need to…
KATIE
Gotcha! I hear you and… me and GEAR GUY will scope it out.
KEE-RA
Apparently Ms Kimba knows the SECRET PASSWORD…
KATIE
Not surprised… so Secret Menu and Special Viewing room … and…
KEE-RA
The COMIC GUY… has a MANGA stash behind the curtain… Street facing stuff is all MARVEL and DC… but behind the curtain — a world of TEZUKA and TORIYAMA classics.
KATIE
Whoa! Really? That place sorta behind the BOOKSHOP?
KEE-RA
Yeah… not far from where we had that FOAMY GOODNESS with the JEDI KAT.
They walk along a bit while Katie visualizes the DOWNTOWN route. Then she starts laughing.
KATIE
DOWNTOWN?
KEE-RA
DOWNTOWN!
She repeats (like the Macklemore song)
KATIE
Downtown?
KEE-RA
I ran the streets, Lady! Next time follow me Lady…
KATIE
Downtown!
KEE-RA
Kimba’ll take you and then you’ll get a taste of …

It’s a whole new world, Lady… Gotta check it out, Lady…
They were having so much fun with their singalong that they seemed to magically land back at the stoop outside Katie’s house.
The front door opens at the exact time Kee-Ra and Katie are paw-fist bumping while both saying / singing: DOWNTOWN!
GEAR GUY observes and laughs.
GEAR GUY
Looks like you kids had a good walk.
Kee-Ra nudges Katie.
KEE-RA
Ya Think??
Katie nudges him back before giving her Gear Guy husband eye contact.
GEAR GUY
Heading into town. Need anything?
Again, the two of them look at each other and start cracking up.
Shaking his head, he’s laughing as he continues.
GEAR GUY
I take that as…
KATIE
Yeah… sorry ’bout…
She’s smiling so big that it is contagious.
KATIE
We’ll talk… later. I have to get our buddy here back over the hill.
KEE-RA
