And so it was that one JEDEMI TAG-TEAM set out for destinations WEST(ER), another had settled into doing more exploring DOWNTOWN. FRANKIE decided WOODSTOCK (AKA “TheSTOCK”) was going to be his hang… the Italian in him… PIZZA the draw.
The engineer in him, was all about the TOUCHTUNES JUKEBOX he saw during his evening walkabout adventure. He really wanted to study how it worked.
HIS tag-team partner, FRANNIE was doing some investigating of her own.

INT. DOWNTOWN PIZZA JOINT
FRANNIE
Ah… You’re HERE! You move around a lot… how long…?
FRANKIE
Hung out until early morning with some new folks I met… Tried to track down our pal, JOEY and then quit out as THIS is what I’m focusing on…
He shows a NAPKIN with the words TOUCHTUNES scribbled on it… Which she struggles to read.
FRANNIE
Oh… Does that say…? TouchTunes…?
She studies his scribbles… Moving the napkin in many directions to make sense of it.
FRANNIE
A Jukebox of some sort?
FRANKIE
Yeah… Actually, a bunch of us wandered over to THE OTTER… That’s where I first saw it.
FRANNIE

Frankie tosses her a shirt.
FRANKIE
Look … I win…! Pretty rad upstairs lounge with DARTs and…
FRANNIE

BREAKFASTS all day AND night… Yum! Gotta tell the team… none of this 1030am cut-off. The real deal.

Once fortified, the rest of my companions wandered off so I figured… check out the WHARF then circle back to TheSTOCK…tomato sauce…. Garlic…
FRANNIE
So what’s the deal…?
FRANKIE
It IS a most fascinating device. Getting some images sent back to our MI TOMMIE and then…
FRANNIE
Then… Ready to switch gears again, right?
He gives her a look. And she points outside.
FRANNIE
We gotta track down JOEY… Guessing he’s holed up somewhere devouring MANGA… So hooked… kinda borderline unhealthy…

AGAIN she’s pointing outside.
FRANNIE

In less than 2-minutes, navigating some back alleys, they arrive outside a marquee that seems to be showing the usual latest releases.
However, Frannie holds up one of the GIFTED RAZRs and shows a BLACK & GREY picture of the film KUROSAWA’S SEVEN SAMURAI (1954).
FRANNIE
Playing here. Limited engagement. It’s a 4K RE-MASTERED… REISSUED… 270 minutes … a BIG SCREEN experience to be had… BIG SOUND too! Totally immersive… But lightly known.

GREAT thinking, actually. So we can treat SEVEN SAMURAI as a dry run and then … make plans, yes?
She nods and then FRANKIE does the DING! motion. Looking back towards ABBOT SQUARE, they see JOEY wandering around trying to adjust his eyes.
FRANKIE
Yo, Joey! Over here!
FRANNIE
Where ya been? Got something to show ya…
Joey hears the voices but can’t place them yet as seemingly in a fog.
FRANNIE
Kinda reminds me of when you wake your kid out of a deep sleep… get ready for school. You go update him and I’ll BRB with…
FRANKIE
CAP… Double Shot… No foolin’ around we need his brain activated straightaway.
FRANNIE
Gotcha!
