Anyway, in this edition, we get a sense for what Happy Barista / Uber Driver KIMBA has been up to…

And so it happened… That the impromptu meetup @TheOTTER prompted more… ideas and creative FLO and…

EXT. WEST CLIFF BY THE SEA
It’s a sunny day and the seaside is beckoning… welcoming to two ladies who have just wrapped their shifts and are ready to… literally “shift” gears.
The ladies? Of course we’re talking about former Suit, KATIE and the Happy Barista (Uber Driver), KIMBA.
Both are wearing SATCHEL-PAKs with the DRAGONBUSTR logo, but… Kimba’s looks a bit bulkier. And she’s bouncing along with extra energy that doesn’t escape the notice of Katie.
Let’s listen in…
KATIE
Seabirds and surfers…
KIMBA
And the steady pounding of waves…
KATIE
We’re lucky…
KIMBA

KATIE
That too… Nice to flip the switch and have this as an option.
KIMBA
Indeed, my friend, indeed.
They walk along some more taking it all in, and then Katie gets things going.
KATIE
Saying, not saying… but your Satchel-Pak seems… uh… rather bulky. And come to think of it… @TheOTTER, I noticed too. So … lots of MANGA and your SLABBY thing and…?

There’s a lookout/rest spot ahead. Can we…?
KATIE

So they arrive and Kimba does a sort of “UNBOXING” like you seen on the Internet — removing the items Katie had already called out (manga and the Slabby Thing). Katie is watching with amusement as the shape of the PAK … is rectangular.
KIMBA
Ready for it…? The TA-DA !!?
Katie nods.
And thusly, Kimba removes a small magnetic white board full of magnets… Not just regular old industrial magnets but… STICKER MULE creations.
She leans the white board on the bench and they step back to admire her work.
Sticker Mule magic…
KATIE
Somebody’s been busy…
KIMBA
You started it… Slabby drawing uploaded to Sticker Mule to… a week later… TA-DA-ing!
She pauses.
There’s something about… seeing for real what you’ve imagined your eyes, ya know?

Just then a couple of folks walking by with their doggie sniffing about, see the white board and stop.
FIRST FOLK
Cool! The Ducks! Very fun!
2ND FOLK
I like… that seabird … the blue one… very… friendly…
Kimba then peels one each of the magnets off and hands them to those folks.
KIMBA
Here… Enjoy!
They look delighted as they accept their gifts and move on as the doggie is now pulling at the leash — prompting them to get going.
Katie is all smiles.
KATIE
Aha! Onto something, you are…
Kimba, too, is all smiles as she packs up and they continue their walk.
KATIE
So… ideas you have?
KIMBA
Indeed! Remember you mentioning your… mind meld with Kee-Ra? You even took to napkins to draw out what he was telling you…Slabby out of juice.
KATIE
Napkins ALWAYS a fall back, but yeah… vivid my eyes.
KIMBA
Got me thinking of mobility… bringing JOY to the people and then…
Katie looks at her. Kimba stops and they make eye contact while at the same time saying: DING !!

KATIE

Swooped in like a pelican… like seabird PELLY here… My UBER MOBILE has magnetic surfaces and… a good size trunk… so… while I’m out and about doing my thing, I can also…
KATIE

They walk along, getting closer to the end of their route.
KATIE

KIMBA
There’s another iteration on the way… inspired by…
She points to the PAK and Katie rewinds the contents in her mind…
KATIE
A manga?
KIMBA
Yup! Takes it… bigger than the initial idea… But…
Kimba’s phone pings.
KIMBA
Gotta go… Give Auntie a ride to her appointment… which means…
KATIE

Kimba nods. Katie fist bumps her and bows.

KATIE

She jumps in her car and zips away.
KATIE
Like a duck to water, I say… She’s really… This is gonna be fun!
She starts up her car and pumps up her SPOTIFY jams.

And so it came that… the SIDE HUSTLE now has… a SIDE HUSTLE… and it’s kind feeling like the way-back shampoo ad...

Note: That’s how DOSSIE, one of the JEDEMI GANG, explains what she saw to FRANNIE as she managed to hitch onto an experimental BIKE that was doing a WEST CLIFF spin “magically” at the same time KATIE & KIMBA were doing their walkabout. Indeed 24K magic in the air!
