Note: We introduced “Yosh” in the post.
The Japanese word “Yosh” is used in manga to convey, “Alright, let’s go!” Or as they say in Katie’s household: “Go means go!”
Above is a short clip that says what we’re saying (and demonstrating): For sure, “yosh” is spontaneous and energetic—a verbal burst of enthusiasm or resolve. We believe if you embrace the DragonBustR Way and it becomes a Way of Life (interwoven), you may find yourself bursting with enthusiasm and resolve.

Magic in the Air! Again… When it Clicks… It Clicks!
It just so happened that shortly after “THE DROPOFF” introducing HAPPY BARISTA, KIMBERLY to the JOURNAL, she gets to see a “LIVE DEMONSTRATION” of the power of MUSINGS. Let’s listen in.
INT. CAT & CLOUD
Shortly after KIMBERLY, the HAPPY BARISTA / UBER DRIVER, was GIFTED a JOURNAL, the former Suit, Ms KATIE, rolling into the Cat & Cloud and commandeers the “VIV TABLE” for an impromptu writing session.
[Note 1: The CAT & CLOUD’s “VIV TABLE” is a designated “creative” spot that mirrors one at The Jedemi Cafe — gifted to THEM by former owner VIV.]

Katie is … on a roll. Her drink barely touched. Ear buds in. Mozart on. Words and sketches seem to effortlessly FLO.
Kimberly, who was busy receiving and putting away deliveries makes note of Katie’s presence but isn’t seeing what she’s doing.
After the magical 20-MINUTES are up (TIMER RINGS), Katie stands to stretch.
DBRs Timer…
She takes a sip of her drink and makes a face JUST as Kimberly zips on by.
Hot Bev is the Best!!
Zipping? Yes, but that LOOK was noticed by the “flying barista” (didn’t escape her eyes). She races behind the counter to make Katie a fresh (HOT!) beverage and … Just as Katie approaches, Kimberly initiates the exchange.
KIMBERLY
Enjoy! Nice and hot! The way beverages should be enjoyed.
Kimberly gives her a knowing smile and Katie starts laughing.
KATIE
You saw?
KIMBERLY
That face you made?
She shakes her head.
KATIE
On a roll, I was. Totally forgot about… And now.
Katie take a long sip while holding a “wait 1 minute” finger with her other hand. Kimberly smiles and together they walk back to the VIV TABLE.
That’s when Kimberly notices a JOURNAL exactly like the one that was dropped off to her. She stares at it. Katie pops it open and flips through the pages.
Usually, I just scribble on some paper near the door… but for some reason… Compelled I was to do a writing session here.
KATIE
See? I went to town… Saw something on my run this morning and … had to get it down. Usually I just scribble on some paper near the door… but for some reason… Compelled I was to do a writing session here.
Kimberly listens with interest.
KIMBERLY
Drawing too…?
KATIE
Huh?
KIMBERLY
The pages you flipped by just now… handwriting and sketches…
KATIE
My version of white boarding I suppose — getting out what I “SEE MY EYES” … What COULD be if…
Kimberly looks up and sees her CO-WORKER has arrived. She fist bumps him and follows him back. And Katie sits back down, revisiting the sketches pointed out by Kimberly before opening her SLABBY THING**.

KATIE INTERNAL
She’s gotta point. The sketches just flowed in the Journal — during my Musings. Shouldn’t they just flow here?
Now she’s toying with her stylus — rightie and southie — recreating what she mused.
KATIE INTERNAL
Woo-hoo! Like raise the roof motion. A joyful response to something that… made your hands clap.
She sits back down. Pushes the SLABBY THING aside. And returns to her musings.
KATIE’S MUSINGS
Why not? If Ducking is a way to tell a JEEP owner — “nice ride,” then why can’t you take OUR DUCKIN’ 2.0 MAGNET idea… to neighborhoods? Most people have metal mailboxes so… it might could work.
Katie draws out how DUCKIN’ a HOUSE would work.
She’s so focused, she doesn’t know that Kimberly has returned and is studying what Katie is doing… That is, until Kimberly audible-izes her thoughts.
KIMBERLY
Great idea!! Makes sense… Lots of sense.
Katie turns around to see Kimberly.
KIMBERLY
Not spying… Just curious… A learning moment for me.
Before she can explain, she reaches for Katie’s Slabby Thing. With an effortless flow, Kimberly draws… paws up with the words Woo-Hoo!
KIMBERLY
Could be a HAPPY PUPPY or…
Katie studies…
KATIE
That WANDERING KAT, MR SQUEEK! You know him, right?
KIMBERLY
Kinda a regular in these parts.
KATIE
I’ve been fooling with … making him the face of the DING!THING…
Variations…
Katie borrows back the Slabby Thing and flips pages in her PAPER app.
KATIE
See?
KIMBERLY
May I…
She borrows back the Slabby Thing and does some quick modifications. Handing it back, she smiles.
KATIE
Like it.
There’s a pause while they both study the sketch.
Then Katie turns it off and shuts (and bands) her Journal.
Done for today…
KATIE
Pencil’s down for today. Will circle back at some point. Gotta let that one kick around…
She points to the back of her head.
Packing up, she see Kimberly has a similar SATCHEL-PAK and smiles.
Satchel-Pak: Kicking Back…
KATIE
Small world?
KIMBERLY
Guess so…
KATIE
You just clock out?
KIMBERLY
Yeah. Fresh air, I need.
KATIE
Walk, shall we?
Points towards WEST CLIFF.
KIMBERLY
Perfect!
And with their matching SATCHEL-PAKs, the ladies march towards the water… observed by the locals (pelicans, sea otters, puppies, etc.).
FADE OUT.
Could it be that the ladies are on the “SAME PAGE” so to speak? For sure, their individual journeys have cross-paths. Interesting, right?
