Quietly, or so he thought, Frankie tiptoes around the house stopping occasionally to look at the RAZR phone.
It just so happened that one of the ladies (FRANNIE) had also taken to exploring the house AND she ALSO so happened to be in that workout / lab area.
FRANNIE
Gotta find… Katie’s reading MANGA on… was it… a MINI SLABBY? RC retrieved it from Doc… from the SHED, so it should be…
And sure enough, Frannie locates the iPad MINI on the charger.

FRANNIE

mini-Slabby on Standby…
As she’s studying it, ever so quietly, in comes Frankie.
Initially, they don’t notice each other as she’s focused on the MINI and he’s very intent on obtaining what Tommie requested.
But true to Frankie’s form (er… nature), he bumps into something [AB COASTER and then an old Apple Monitor) causing a loud sound — startling the both of them.
Then, in almost a Bugs Bunny fashion, they both talk at the same time…
FRANNIE

FRANKIE

FRANNIE

FRANKIE

FRANNIE

FRANKIE

They pause and then after a beat, start laughing uncontrollably.
FRANKIE

Noticing the skepticism in her voice, Frankie flips open the RAZR and holds it up.
FRANKIE
See! Tommie drew me a MAP where “X” marks the spot for…
Studying the RAZR, Frannie smiles and points to a spot next to the exercise bike.
Frankie looks and grins.
FRANKIE
Ah! Perfect!
He flips the LAY-FLAT MANGA over and studies it.

FRANKIE
Huh… FRENCH MANGA… Boxing with… Mike Tyson? Really? Wonder what he’s up to this time?
Frannie borrows to flip through.
FRANNIE
My French is a little rusty, but this looks cool… I imagine Joey was giving it a look as he seems to have commandeered the LAY-FLAT MANGAs… well… the ones at JEDEMI.
FRANKIE
Betcha Katie’s house is full of ‘em.
He reaches over to take back the asked for (”IPPO”) manga.

Frankie bows and starts moving towards the back door, when he is called back.
FRANNIE

She is holding up the MINI SLABBY.
FRANKIE

FRANNIE
Intrigued. It’s a … mini slabby thingie, right? I believe this is how DOC is reading MANGA…
FRANKIE
Ah… Interesting… Saw him and JOEY fooling with something but I had to stay focused on TOMMIE’s…
He takes the MINI and presses the round button.

FRANNIE
It’s alive! Where is the MANGA? Any ideas?
They both study the ICONS on the screen…
FRANKIE
There… I think… The SJ chiclet thingie… I don’t know why, but that logo looks familiar to me.

As they are deep in concentration – focused on the various options in the SHONEN JUMP app, the RAZR pings.
They look at each other.
FRANKIE
That’s weird…
Reading, he shakes his head.
FRANKIE
I’m being summoned… er… ushered by…
FRANNIE
How’d he…?

FRANKIE

He disappears from sight with a burst of energy. Frannie looks at the MINI SLABBY and then in the direction of Frankie.
FRANNIE

So Frannie takes off in pursuit of Frankie.
