Sure! So, without further ado…
FADE IN:
INT. KATIE’S KITCHEN
She popped over to her rolling cart, which serves as an extended kitchen counter (same height) and opens up her SLABBLY THING … and starts drawing SOUTHIE (that is, using her LEFT hand). Her moves smooth and fluid as though she’s been doing this her whole life.
She just so happens to be observed.
I can’t see you, but I know you’re here…
KATIE
I can’t see you, but I know you’re here…
Katie can hear something is going on in the kitchen, but wants to continue the FLO.
KATIE
4A for ya. FRENCH… Enjoy!
She continues her “smooth lines” (not so easy when using the SLABBY THING).
Her observer grabs a TRIGGER MUG and then moves to the kitchen table check it out.
Trigger Mug…
A voice… an exclamation in fact, breaks her concentration as she recognizes and SMILES to herself.
KATIE
Mornin’ Stranger!
The observer / stranger is none other than… the WONDER / WANDER (WANDER / WONDER) KAT, MR SQUEEK.
The Wonder /Wander Kat…
MR SQUEEK
Hey Tootsie! Been busy today, eh?
KATIE
Impressed you are? I thought I heard you say…
MR SQUEEK
IMPRESSIVE!! Indeed. Worth repeating as… It looks like you got your DRAWING FLO on… and … (pauses) I admired the … how you…
Points to the loose sheets of paper on the table.
KATIE
That? Oh… Just came to me… How to… train myself. I’ve got good muscle memory… That’s how I came up with THE GUYS and RC and… my version of YOU actually.
MR SQUEEK
Yes… I recall hearing that… seeing that… the CLOTHESPINS… definitely a YOU-BE-YOU… feel very… YOU-SOME… fun!
At this point, KATIE moves to turn on the ELECTRIC TEA KETTLE while still talking.
KATIE
SPURS… need to switch to HOT WATER…
She fills her TRIGGER MUG and returns to the table. Mr Squeek hops up on a chair to continue his chat.
MR SQUEEK
Catch me up…? Or rather, just cut to… whatcha working on?
KATIE
You’ll see soon enough… a CANTINA idea… for my website …
MR SQUEEK
CANTINA? Makes me think…
KATIE
STAR WARS? Right? Functionally, yes…
MR SQUEEK

KATIE

KATIE
Just felt right to DRAW it out as I SEE MY EYES. I think… my next meetups with MER and KIMBA… this will be conducive for… REACT TO… RESPOND TO… INTERACTIVE… I guess what FRANKIE from JEDEMI would call FIRECRACKER sparking of IDEAS… something like that.

He hops down and heads for the door.
KATIE
Uh… Aren’t ya gonna…?
MR SQUEEK
Oh yeah…
He grabs his mug and puts it in the sink.
MR SQUEEK
Sorry ‘bout it…
KATIE
No… Silly… I meant…
Mr Squeek pauses.
MR SQUEEK
Oh yeah…
He reaches into his SATCHEL-PAK and tosses a stack of NAPKINS on the table (held together with a clothespin).
MR SQUEEK
You… Left these behind… C&C… I was going to drop off to… but you and maybe RC should do the honors.
Napkins way cooler…
Katie smiles as she flips through the napkins and then points to her JOURNAL.
KATIE
So… what a relief! I was on a roll when I wrote those out and … RC is going to come a KNOCKIN’ looking for the suggestions… AND… I was re-creating here but… NAPKIN presentation is way cooler…
MR SQUEEK
By HAND… like what you’re… You did here…
Now he bounds out of the room and disappears.
She hears him saying…
MR SQUEEK
KOKO!
Keep On Keepin’ On…
KATIE
Indeed I will… Indeed I will!
