And so it happened that the SUN, MOON & STARs aligned and… a WESTSIDE visit occurred with an OVERNIGHT. The thought was put into the universe, and the universe complied in a BIG WAY.
How so? It’s the middle of winter while the rest of the country is FREEZING, Happy Puppy KEE-RA and his human (SUIT-IN-TRANSITION) MEREDITH escaped THE VALLEY and headed over the hill.
It also, just so happened, that Kee-Ra was able to repeat his HOMESTAY with former Suit KATIE and her GEAR GUY husband. But Meredith… well… no room at the house, so they put her up at the FAIRFIELD ON MISSION (WESTSIDE).
We pick up the action at KATIE’S WESTSIDE HOUSE. —The Gang

EXT. KATIE’S WESTSIDE HOUSE
Meredith has just pulled up in front of Katie’s house. An excited Kee-Ra nearly leaps out the window, but Katie arrives just in time to “free him.”
KATIE
Welcome! How was your drive? 17 behaved this day?
MEREDITH
Yeah. All good. WESTSIDE!! So close, yet seemingly so far away.
KATIE
Right? Great for a mental shift…
Holds up her watch and points to the time.
KATIE
Wanna check in over there and then… explore a bit?
MEREDITH
Yeah…. Sure.
GEAR GUY opens the garage door and Kee-Ra bounds up to him.
KATIE
Perfect! We’ll let the boys bond.
They climb into the MER MOBILE and make the short ride to the FAIRFIELD.

INT. WESTSIDE FAIRFIELD
In the lobby, Katie points to the sign: NO PETS
KATIE
Kee-Ra is in good hands. No worries. Let’s get ya settled in. Then the NICKEL TOUR.
Before long, Katie is showing the DINING ROOM where the FREE BREAKFAST is available starting at 6:30am AND where most of the time, there’s an AIRPOT of coffee available.
KATIE
Got your JOURNAL packed? This area is good for writing — I don’t know about you, but I usually pop up early and… it’s a nice zone away from the SLEEPING QUARTERS.

And so it was that life goes on (and on and on). Yet, the seeds had been planted and even though Suit-in-Transition, MEREDITH found herself inundated with CLIENT REQUESTS requiring many ZOOM CALLS and heads-down focus on DELIVERABLES, somehow… some way… a part of her managed to BACKGROUND TASK something she was exposed to during her WESTSIDE adventure.

Too funny, it is… but in a way a GIFT TOO. If I was working in a cubicle… FTE in an OFFICE ENVIRONMENT… maybe… could be more challenging for sure to MULTI-TASK… or rather jump back and forth between… WORLDS…
And then there’s the… how does she say it? Oh yeah… the DING!THING… Like… Client is getting ready for a TRADE SHOW and wants stuff to hand out… SWAG with quick turn (OF COURSE!!). And that’s when… I SAW IT.
Just then Happy Puppy KEE-RA hops up on a chair to watch her write.

He’s laughing and Meredith smiles.

Remember when we were driving back OVER THE HILL and I mentioned that prOject Katie’s Barista / Uber Driver friend was working on?
KEE-RA
Oh… Yeah… You said… another form of DUCKIN’… Like an expansion or extension of the concept… I remember.
MEREDITH
Well… Got SLAMMED with CLIENT stuff like the minute I got back… but… this found its way in.
