Who’s on Stage? An Animaniac Classic…

One of my favorite Animaniac clips is Woodstock Slappy (1994). it’s set in1969. Skippy Squirrel has been dragged off to his Aunt Slappy’s cottage in the woods to for some peace and quite AND to get away from the hippy influence in the city.

They awake the next morning to find the Woodstock concert has set up right outside Slappy’s place. Besides the antics of Slappy trying to unplug the musicians, the coolest part of the piece is the takeoff of the Abbott and Costello routine. It’s a classic!
